Bajrang Dal: Embodiment of irrational violence and hatred? Terrorism redefined?
Bajrang Dal or vanar sena (army of apes) is the youth wing of VHP which is highly revolutionary. Bajrang Dal instigates people and organizes and orchestrates riots. So this organization aspires to cause public disorder and destruction. They are certainly not concerned about their communities. If this group is responsible for torching of churches, raping of nuns, and injuring many Christians, undoubtedly we can say that Bajrang Dal is a terrorist group.
If they were responsible for the Gujarat riots and if they are involved in the ongoing violence in Orissa, then they should certainly be banned. Since they are not full-fledged terrorist organizations they should be banned for a few years. The leaders should be arrested and they should be put on trial like any other criminal. Similar logic should be applied to any other organization if they are causing disorder with their activities
In their official website, the activists of Bajrang Dal warn Hindu girls never to share love with Muslim boys. They are mad by religion and they will spread violence and hatred. Bajrang Dal redefines terrorism, intruding into the lives of innocent people without humanity. Like SIMI, Bajrang Dal is not suitable for India.
